Privacy and Data Governance

Personal data protection under control, without slowing the business down.

INNSYSTE helps companies in Colombia manage their personal data: privacy policies, data-subject support, privacy by design, and audit support, with secure data deletion once the lifecycle ends.

Where it starts

What weighs on the business when personal data has no owner.

Privacy stops being a legal problem the day it becomes part of the operation.

Regulatory

Exposure grows with every new database

More gets collected than needed, without a clear basis, and the risk piles up quietly.

Operational

Serving a data subject today is a manual process

Every access, correction, or deletion request gets resolved by improvising between areas.

Governance

When there's a breach, it's detected late

Without knowing where personal data lives, the incident advances before it's seen.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about personal data protection.

What is Law 1581 of 2012?

It is Colombia's personal data protection law (habeas data). It sets the rights of data subjects and the duties of those who collect and process their data. INNSYSTE helps turn those duties into working policies and processes.

What is the RNBD and who must register their databases?

The National Database Registry (RNBD) is run by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). In general, private entities with total assets above 100,000 UVT and public entities must register. The database inventory from the diagnosis leaves the information ready; we confirm your case in the meeting.

How are data subject requests handled?

The law allows 10 business days to answer inquiries and 15 for complaints. We build a process with owners and traceability, supported by automation that routes each request and prepares the response.

What should we do after a personal data breach?

Contain the incident, assess what data was exposed and report it to the SIC through the RNBD within 15 business days of detection. Having a data inventory and defined processes beforehand shortens that response.

What is demonstrated accountability?

It is the principle that whoever processes data must be able to show compliance, not just claim it, through policies, processes and evidence. The diagnose, define, implement and audit cycle leaves that evidence ready for the regulator and for the customer.
